Ja, 'echte' liefde overwint....

mooi mooi

Weer zo'n prachtige tekst, ga zo meteen even naar you tube om te luisteren. Maar zoals Steve Hogarth (zanger en tekstschrijver van Marillion) zelf zei, soms heb ik de behoefte mijn teksten voor te lezen, door de muziek wordt er iets toegevoegd, maar verliezen de woorden soms hun zwaarte... Als je iets van Marillion wil horen kun je op mijn hyves profiel kijken, of zelf op you tube iets zoeken. Wel de Marillion met Steve Hogarth, niet de hele oude Marillion met Fish (van het nummer Kayleigh, wat ik overigens ook erg mooi vond). Echt de moeite waard hoor, Marillion...

Aha, pocahontas... Inderdaad als ik hem hoor is het een bekend nummer... Echt goed om gewoon eens teksten te lezen, dan word je niet afgeleid door alles er om heen. Blijf ze plaatsen hoor Liesanne, ik zal ook eens zoeken naar een mooie van Marillion.

Misschien wil je er een plaatsen die jij mooi vindt....

Ja, van dit nummer vind ik (ook) vooral de tekst mooi en de uitvoering wat minder.... maar Pocahontas zo'n mooi verhaal...echt genieten samen met de kinderen kijken...

Deze film kwam uit in de periode dat mijn vader ernstig ziek was en een vriend overleed. Ik vond in dit nummer toostende woorden... Zing het nog vaak onder de afwas -in het nederlands- die uitvoering vind ik ook mooi!
