Een paar van mijn gedichten / songteksten

Ik plaats hier een paar songteksten en gedichten van mezelf om ze met jullie te delen. Ik weet van mezelf dat deze teksten goed zijn omdat ze uit mezelf komen. Ik zou alles wel willen plaatsen, maar ik zou het zonde vinden als er teksten gejat worden en door andere bands gebruikt worden. De teksten die ik hier neerzet gaan bijna allemaal wel over liefde en hoe ik daar over denk. Of over het leven. Hier komen ze:

Life

Sometimes life can be a losing game,
And sometimes life can bring you fame.
It doesn’t matter how you’ll be,
‘Cause in the end there’s no difference between you and me.
The answers that you’re looking for are inside of you,
You’re not the only one who is searching, we are too.


It’s hard to accept the mistakes that are made,
But we don’t have the time on our side to wait.
Keep your eyes open and see the opportunity,
To realise that it isn’t hard to be happy.


Sometimes life seems like a fight that’s already lost,
And you wouldn’t give up this fight at any cost.
In the end it left you broken,
And the words you wanted to say are still unspoken.
Only you are responsible for how you feel,
‘Cause that fight you were fighting was never real.


You can’t escape the past,
‘Cause the lies and mistakes will get to you fast.
You can only be happy and feel free,
If you accept your destiny.


It’s hard to accept the mistakes that are made,

Over The Bridge


Does she understand how it feels to be lonely?
She can always be with me if she knows the person inside of me.
Because a bridge is meant to cross and that will always be,
Just like her heart is meant to set me free.


I would die for just a moment with you
I could only wish you feel the same way too
I need to find a way to get over the bridge
So I can reach you,
And love you.
Over and over again…


But if I admit to myself that the bridge isn't there
The truth says that my road will lead to nowhere
And if I can't reach for you, I feel like nothing else will do.
Because my heart stops beating if it isn't meant for you

Nothing Is Lost

Your life changed on that single day,
And the memories can never be taken away.
This will be hard to leave behind,
So many thoughts crossing your mind.
Sometimes you feel that nothing will do,
But I’m sure we’ll get you through.


Just understand that nothing is lost,
The way to happiness will be crossed.
Enough people at your side,
To help you change the tide.
And to win this fight!


Life changed but it still has its bright side,
And I’m sure your eyes will open wide.
There will be a day that the sun will shine,
It’s only going to take some time.
You will find the bright side of life,
And you will keep up the strive!


Just understand that nothing is lost,

Deze had ik voor iemand geschreven die het even niet meer zag zitten bijvoorbeeld. Ik ben benieuwd wat jullie hiervan vinden.
